Although the Comic-Con International San Diego panel for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was itself announced last month, Yahoo! Movies now has a confirmed list of names of the talent that will be participating. What’s more, they’ve debuted a new image from the much-anticipated sequel that you can check out below and revealed that a new full trailer for the film will debut at the Saturday panel.
Leading lady Jennifer Lawrence will join co-stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Willow Shields and Jeffrey Wright on the Hall H stage alongside director Francis Lawrence to discuss the November 22 release and the future of the blockbuster franchise.
The first of three planned sequels also stars Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Alan Ritchson, E. Roger Mitchell, Maria Howell, Stephanie Leigh Schlund and Sam Claflin.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
