Shawn Levy is set to produce an original spec script from T.J. Fixman titled The Lost. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that New Line will develop the original action comedy.
The Lost follows the misadventures of two first-offender convicts who have to clear their names when they’re accused of murdering their parole officer.
Fixman recently made headlines when another comedy script, One Night on the Hudson, got set up at Universal Pictures with Seth Gordon slated to direct.
Levy, meanwhile, recently directed The Internship and will next helm the Jonathan Tropper adaptation This is Where I Leave You.
Dan Cohen and Billy Rosenberg, both of Levy’s 21 Laps, will also serve as producers on The Lost.
