Chloe Moretz is the latest name said to be in talks to join the cast of Olivier Assayas’ (Summer Hours) latest, Sils Maria. Deadline reports that she’d join Juliette Binoche and Mia Wasikowska in the Swiss-set drama.
The film, picked up by IFC yesterday, is said to examine middle age. Moretz would play Joann, a young actress who signs on to play a role that made Binoche’s character famous when she herself was young.
Moretz’s next project to hit the big screen, Kimberly Peirce’s Carrie serves as a real-world mirror of exactly that. The young actress will step into the role played by Sissy Spacek in Brian De Palma’s 1976 adaptation.
