“Luther” star Ruth Wilson is set to star in the upcoming thriller A Walk Among the Tombstones, Variety reports. She’ll join leading man Liam Neeson and the recently announced Dan Stevens.
Formerly a cop with the NYPD, now an unlicensed private eye and a recovering alcoholic haunted by past mistakes, Neeson stars as Matt Scudder, who is hired to find the kidnapped wife of a drug dealer. He operates just outside the law where the police dont go to track down the kidnappers, who he discovers have been involved in multiple kidnappings and brutal murders.
Wilson recently appeared on the big screen in Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina and is set to star in the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures releases The Lone Ranger and Saving Mr. Banks.
Scott Frank (The Lookout) wrote A Walk Among the Tombstones and will direct the film with Double Feature Films partners Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher to produce with Danny DeVito and his company, Jersey Films.
