As he did with 1997’s The Fifth Element, writer/producer Luc Besson offers a fantastic glimpse into a bigger-than-life sci-fi future when Lockout hits theaters this Friday. Directed and co-written by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger, the action thriller stars Guy Pearce as Snow, an ex-government whose last chance at freedom lies in volunteering for a suicide mission to the MS One: a state-of-the-art maximum security prison held in Earth’s orbit. There, a riot of the Earth’s deadliest inmates has broken out and it’s only a matter of time before the criminals learn that one of their hostages (Maggie Grace) is actually the daughter of the President.
ComingSoon.net sat down to speak with both Pearce and Grace about coming aboard the out-of-this-world production and tackling an unusual action hero pair. Check out the full video interviews in the player below!
