Blake Lively talks to ComingSoon.net about The Shallows
This weekend Sony Pictures will release their tense summer thriller The Shallows, and we had the chance to sit down 1-on-1 with leading lady Blake Lively (The Age of Adeline, The Town). Check out the video interview in the player below to see Lively talk about how the movie doesn’t demonize sharks, as well as the hilarious name of her seagull companion in the film!

A taut thriller, The Shallows movie follows Nancy (Lively), who is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a great white shark and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of wills.
Jaume Collet-Serra (Run All Night, Non-Stop) directs the film from the Black List script by Anthony Jaswinski, with Weimaraner Republic Pictures partners Lynn Harris and Matti Leshem producing.
