Titles arriving February 2 include Bridge of Spies, The Last Witch Hunter, Falling Skies and more!
Welcome to ComingSoon.net’s look at all the top titles arriving this week on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Check out the gallery viewer below for a look at the major new releases, catalogue films and television collections hitting shelves and/or VOD beginning Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
This is a packed week for recent big-screen fare as February 2 kicks off with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ latest teaming, Bridge of Spies. Then, Vin Diesel delivers fantasy action with The Last Witch Hunter, Bill Murray heads to Afghanistan in Barry Levinson’s Rock the Kasbah and Sandra Bullock spin doctors a Bolivian Presidential campaign in David Gordon Green’s Our Brand is Crisis. Meanwhile, Lake Bell and Simon Pegg team for the comedy Man Up, while an assembly of talent come together for the romantic comedy Big Stone Gap. Carey Mulligan, meanwhile, plays an early modern feminist in Sarah Gavron’s Suffragette and Cate Blanchett teams with Robert Redford for James Vanderbilt’s Truth.
Debuting directly to home video this week is the DC Comics animated adventure, Batman: Bad Blood. Also on the animation front is Disney’s first “Signature Collection” release, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Prophet, based on Kahlil Gibran’s 1923 novel of the same name.
Shout! Factory this week delivers a Blu-ray edition of the 2014 Taiwanese post-apocalyptic actioner Zombie Fight Club. Meanwhile, the new direct-to-video sequel The Land Before Time: Journey of the Brave (the franchise’s 14th entry overall) arrives February 2 as a Walmart exclusive.
On the TV front, February 2 brings us the fifth and final season of TNT‘s sci-fi thriller Falling Skies as well as a massive five-season Complete Series box set that contains all 52 episodes and previously-released supplementary material. Also arriving is the second season of El Rey Network‘s From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. The show also arrives February 2 with in a season one and two combo pack.
Arriving via Digital HD this week is Danny Boyle’s acclaimed biopic, Steve Jobs, currently nominated for two Academy Awards.
