From Richard Curtis, the writer behind modern romantic classics like Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually (which he also directed) comes About Time, a science fiction-tinged comedy drama that looks at life and love from every angle, including reverse.
One night after New Year’s, Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) learns a surprisingly secret from his father (Bill Nighy): All of the men in their family have the ability to travel through time. They can relive any moment of their life again and even change things for the better. For Tim, that means winning the heart of Mary (Rachel McAdams), the would-be love his of life. Tim soon discovers, however, that the universe is built of both choice and chance and that his ability has its own unforeseen complications.
ComingSoon.net sat down with Curtis, stars McAdams and Nighy and singer-songwriter Ben Folds, whose song, “The Luckiest,” is featured in the film. Check out the interviews in the player below and catch the film in theaters in a limited release this Friday, November 1 before it goes wide on November 8.
