One of the foremost creative architects behind Marvel Studios’ ongoing cinematic universe, producer and President of Production Kevin Feige makes for a fascinating interview because of his incredible ability to tease upcoming projects without giving too much away. ComingSoon.net sat down with him at the London press junket for the upcoming Thor: The Dark World and, as you can see in the player below, he does not disappoint.
In addition to comments about the expanding, now-galactic scale of the MCU, how the studio’s brain trust operates and next year’s Guardians of the Galaxy (which he says takes place 99% in space), Feige teases the expansion of Marvel on the small screen and explains that the current release schedule is targeting one sequel and one original film a year. (Although he doesn’t specifically make note of it, it’s likely that the mysterious “Phase Three” releases scheduled for May 6, 2016 and July 8, 2016 will follow suit.)
Check out the interview in the player below and check back between now and the film’s release on November 8 for lots more video interviews with the cast and crew of Thor: The Dark World!
