HYBE’s new K-pop girl group, I’LL-IT, is ready to debut. After revealing the members’ profiles, ILL-IT’s label BELIFT LAB confirmed its debut date.
I’LL-IT, the new girl group of HYBE Labels, has five members – Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. The rookie group will be BELIFT’s first girl group project after they made a mark in the K-pop world with the boy group Enhypen.
K-pop debut date of ILL-IT revealed
I’LL-IT will be making their official debut on March 25 with their debut extended play. As per BELIFT, the members have started shooting for the official music video and are in the last phase of preparations for the album.
The K-pop rookies expressed their excitement for their debut through an official statement. “We are very glad and excited to finally make our debut that we have been longing for,” the members said, adding, “We also thank our fans who have been waiting patiently. We believe we’ve grown one step further through the recording sessions and the music video shoots we’ve had, and those experiences made us realize that we are actually making our debut.”
BELIFT’s I’LL-IT was formed from the reality show R U Next. 22 contestants participated to win a chance to debut. Six members emerged as the winners of the show. But Youngseo, one of the final lineup members, left the group months before their official debut.
Among the members, Yunah is the group’s oldest member, and Iroha is the official maknae (youngest). I’LL-IT has three Korean and two Japanese members.
Before I’LL-IT, HYBE debuted two girl groups, Le Sserafim and NewJeans, in 2022. Both groups have already won several trophies for being rising superstars among K-pop rookies. NewJeans also became the first female artist to win Artist of the Year in the same year at both the 2023 MAMA Awards and the 2023 Melon Music Awards.
