Tarot Korean Drama 2024: Release Date, Cast, Plot & More

Tarot Korean Drama is an upcoming horror anthology series all set to air in June 2024. Starring Cho Yeo-Jeong and Dex, the K-drama consists of seven short, spooky stories. Each features different scenarios revolving around the themes of horror and suspense.

K-drama Tarot will include seven episodes with seven titles — Santa’s Visit, Single Locker, Phishing, Please Throw It Away, Late Night Taxi, Rent Mom, and Couple Manager. While the genre is horror, and each episode will feature a new storyline, there will be one common factor in all the episodes.

The plotlines of each installment of K-drama will include tarot cards. In the synopsis, MyDramaList mentions, “The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.” It will premiere on Friday, June 14, 2024, on CGV.

Tarot Korean drama 2024 stars actors and reality TV stars in lead roles. Oscar-winner Parasite actress Cho Yeo-Jeong and popular reality TV show Single’s Inferno star Dex will be part of the upcoming horror K-drama. Ashbun (High Class) has directed the project.

Here is the list of episode titles and its main leads:

  • Santa’s Visit: Yeo-Jeong as Ji-Woo
  • Single Locker: Seo Ji-Hoon and Lee Joo-Bin
  • Phishing: Oh Yu-Jin
  • Please Throw It Away: Dex as Dong In
  • Late Night Taxi: Go Kyu-Pil as Gyeong Rae
  • Rent Mom: Park Ha-Sun
  • Couple Manager: Kim Sung-Tae and T-ara’s Eunjung

The trailer of the K-drama begins with Santa’s Visit scene. Ji-Woo receives a tarot card, and things get worse from that instance. It further features Dong In (Please Throw It Away) and Gyeong Rae (Late Night Taxi) receiving similar tarot cards, creating a spooky atmosphere. And a series of “cursed messages” begin. The show’s plot is about finding the person sending the tarot cards and threats.

In 2024, the series is the latest project dealing with the horror-mystery theme after Kim Go-Eun’s Exhuma movie. Produced by LG Uplus Studio X+U, Woosang Films, and Studio Changchang, Tarot was featured in Canneseries 2024. Stay tuned for more updates!
