Byeon Woo-Seok’s Lovely Runner: Is Eclipse Band Real?

The ongoing tvN K-drama Lovely Runner,starring Byeon Woo-Seok, has gained immense popularity all over the world. In the series, Byeon Woo-Seok’s character, Ryu Sun-Jae, is part of a famous boy band, Eclipse. It has four members, including Ryu Sun-Jae’s close friend, Baek In-Hyuk (Lee Seung-Hyub). 

This band has been created in a K-drama, so Eclipse is not real. It is a fictional band formed under JNT that has been showcased in the time-travel romance K-drama Lovely Runner. However, the fictional band is present on different streaming platforms, like Spotify, with the OST playlist of the series. The playlist has five songs and five instrumental versions of those songs as well.

Actor Byeon Woo-Seok has gone above and beyond to portray the lead character, Ryu Sun-Jae, in tvN’s Lovely Runner. He has gone through vocal training and sung the song “Sudden Shower” for the drama’s OST playlist.

As mentioned above, the boy band Eclipse is not a real band but a fictional one portrayed in tvN’s Korean drama. It is a four-member band under JNT. The four members of the band include Ryu Sun-Jae (Byeon Woo-Seok), Baek In-Hyuk (Lee Seung-Hyub), Hyun-Soo (Moon Xion), and Jay (Yang Hyuk).

In Eclipse, Ryu Sun-Jae is the main vocalist, and Baek In-Hyuk is the leader, guitarist, and vocalist. Meanwhile, Hyun-Soo is the drummer, and Jay is the maknae (youngest member), vocalist, and bassist. In real life, Lee Seung-Hyub is a member of the rap rock band called N. Flying.

The OST playlist of Eclipse on different streaming platforms, including Spotify, MelOn, and more, has five songs. The list includes “Sudden Shower,” “Run Run,” “You & I,” “No Fate,” and “I’ll Be There.” There are also instrumental versions of all five songs, which are also available on the Eclipse OST playlist.
