SBS K-drama Connection cast: Ji-Sung, Jeon Mi-Do & more play interesting roles
The central storyline of the suspense K-drama Connection revolves around the narcotics team detective Jang Jae-Kyung of the Anhyeon Police Station. He has proven his skills to earn the respect of his juniors and seniors. Using his friend’s death as a clue, he uncovers the truth and story of a relationship that has deteriorated over 20 years. Ji-Sung portrays a wide variety of emotions while playing Jae-Kyung, even in scenes where he struggles with drug addiction.
Meanwhile, Jeon Mi-Do plays social affairs reporter Oh Yoon-Jin. She is smart and outspoken, with a lot of mental and physical courage. As she doesn’t tolerate injustice, Yoon-Jin gets fired from her job. She returns to her hometown and begins to work for a local news outlet when she crosses paths with Jae-Kyung. The duo collaborates to uncover corruption connections across their hometown.
Ji-Sung is popular for his appearances in many successful dramas like The Devil Judge, Defendant, Kill Me Heal Me, and more. Jeon Mi-Do gained global recognition with her role in the popular medical drama Hospital Playlist.
Other cast members who play pivotal roles in Connection include Kwon Yul, who plays prosecutor Park Tae-Jin of the Anhyeon District Prosecutors’ Office.
