Jun-Yeol’s agency mentions that he was in the early stages of reviewing the project details and was unsure of doing it. On the other hand, an insider of the production company SHOWBOX shared that they have discontinued the discussions. They told Sports Donga.com, “Discussions on Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s appearance in ‘Delusion’ have been halted. The production of ‘Delusion’ will proceed as is.”

Talking about Jun-Yeol’s exit from the drama, his agency, C-JeS Studios, declared the reasons to Sports Khan.com. They said, “Ryu Jun Yeol was in the early stages of reviewing [the offer to star in] ‘Delusion,’ and it is true that the production company requested that we discontinue the discussions. As we should not cause any damage to the project, we felt responsible for this incident and agreed to suspend the review.”
Based on a webtoon, Delusion is a mystery thriller K-drama set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 1800s Shanghai. Director Han Jae-Rim’s directorial narrative of the story revolves around Yun Iho. He is an artist who gets commissioned to paint a mysterious woman and visit her hotel. What happens between them in the process is all about the drama. Earlier, Ryu Jun-Yeol and Han So-Hee received the offer to play the lead roles. Following that, their blooming love story reports spread everywhere.
But now, they have announced their break-up and on March 30, 2024, their agencies have confirmed it. Reply to 1988 actor Ryu Jun-Yeol and Gyeonseong Creature actress Han So-Hee’s agencies declared, “They promised to no longer emotionally exhaust with their personal life.”
