MBC extends Knight Flower finale airtime

According to a Ten Asia report, Knight Flower episode 12 (finale) will air five minutes early on Saturday. MBC will treat the show’s viewers with an extra five minutes of entertainment.

The agency quoted the production team’s statement, reporting (originally in Korean), “The dramatic conflict and other stories of this drama could not be contained in the length of the existing drama, so after much consideration, we decided to expand the programming. Although it may not be able to capture everything, we wanted to show it as much as possible by moving it 5 minutes earlier.”

Hence, fans will have to tune in to MBC at 9:45 p.m. KST on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Those who miss the finale can watch all the episodes on Viki.

The K-drama premiered on January 12, 2024. It is based on the webtoon Flower That Blooms at Night by Ttol-I, Jeongro, Yuna, Beth, Lee Sam, and Jeong Myung-In. The cast of the series includes Lee Hanee, Lee Jong-Won, Kim Sang-Joong, Lee Ki-Woo, Kim Mi-Kyung, Jung So-Ri, Oh Eui-Sik, Seo Yi-Sook, Jo Jae-Yun, and Heo Jung-Do.

Knight Flower episode 11 trailer teases Lee Hanee warning Lee Jong-Won about his life being in danger

The network recently released the Knight Flower episode 11 trailer. It begins with Kang Pil-Jik revealing that the son of the late Head of the Royal Guard is still alive. Cho Yeo-Hwa (Lee Hanee) overhears the conversation from outside the chamber when she arrives in her assassin attire.

Seok Ji-Sung then advises someone to kill the “root of the problem,” hinting at a character’s death. The next scene shows Yeo-Hwa warning Park Soo-Ho (Lee Jong-Won) that Pil-Jil will try to kill him. She asks him to be careful. It further features Soo-Ho surrounded by attackers.

In the Knight Flower episode 11 trailer, Seok Jeong asks Soo-Ho about Yeo-Hwa, “Let me ask you this. Is it better that my wife is your secret lover, that she is a masked assassin?” This adds much curiosity to the storyline. Furthermore, the king invites the Left State Minister’s family for a meal with a plan in mind.

The video shows Yeo-Hwa realizing that one of the dishes served to the king has been spiked with poison. She tries to raise a concern, but her father-in-law stops her. Meanwhile, Soo-Ho tries to enter the palace, but the guards do not let him through.

It seems like a lot will unfold in the Knight Flower’s final episodes. The MBC K-drama airs on Fridays and Saturdays on the network and Viki.
