Starring Park Eun-Bin and Chae Jong-Hyeop, Castaway Diva episode 9 is set to premiere this weekend. The network tvN recently released a preview trailer, featuring an injured Kang Bo-Geol.
In the episode 8 ending, Bo-Goel (Jong-Hyeop) tells his abusive father Bong-Wan that he is his long-lost son Ki-Ho. The upcoming episode’s trailer shows his face covered with blood and cut marks. It appears Bong-Wan beat him up.
The recently released preview features Bo-Geol running to Park Eun-Bin’s character, Mok-Ha, for her safety. Watch the trailer here:
Castaway Diva Episodes 9 & 10 release date, plot & more
Castaway Diva releases two episodes every week. Episode 9 will air on Saturday, November 25, 2023, and episode 10 will be out on Sunday, November 26, 2023. The air time is 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. It also gets released on Netflix.
In the latest Castaway Diva episode 9 trailer, Kang Woo-Hak is riding Bo-Geol home. On the way, they see Mok-Ha arguing with a man and a woman. Bo-Geol jumps out of the car and stands in between Mok-Ha and those people. The way he protects her scares them away. When he turns back, she sees his face. He lies to her, saying he got drunk and fell down.
In the previous episode, Bo-Geol as Ki-Ho reunites with Mok-Ha and confesses that he still has feelings for her. Although it seems she feels the same way, she denies it when Woo-Hak asks her. Apart from protecting Mok-Ha, the two brothers are also busy tracking down their father Bong-Wan. While Woo-Hak thinks he might be a murder suspect, Bo-Geol tries to shift Bong-Wan’s attention away from his family.
When he fails to do so, Bo-Geol meets Bong-Wan. But Chae Jong-Hyeop’s character left viewers curious in episode 8 when he searched the term Patricide online. It means killing one’s father. Fans’ curiosity may come to an end in Castaway Diva episode 9.
The K-drama airs on Netflix and tvN on Saturdays and Sundays.
