The publication claimed that the movie will premiere on the streaming service, DisneyPlus Hotstar, after its theatrical run. However, the report did not reveal the OTT release date of the film. While most Bollywood movies take six to eight weeks to arrive on a digital platform, the same is expected with the upcoming drama.
For the unversed, Sarfira is the official Hindi remake of Tamil star Suriya’s National Award-winning film, Soorarai Pottru. It is inspired by the life of Simplify Deccan’s founder, GR Gopinath, and is based on his memoir, Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey. Moreover, Suriya is co-producing and starring in a cameo role in the movie.
