Tabu to play Sister Francesca in Dune: Prophecy
The Max series, previously known as Dune: The Sisterhood, was in the making long before the onset of the pandemic. Now, with Tabu’s involvement, it takes another step toward its actualization. According to a report from Variety, Tabu will play the character of Sister Francesca. Based on the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson, her role is significant.
Sister Francesca is described as a character of depth and complexity. In detail, “Strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital.”
