Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, hit theaters on February 9, 2024. The movie was directed by Girish A.D. and had a decent opening with positive reviews from the audience. With a 2-hour and 36-minute runtime, Premalu has been produced by Bhavana Studios. Aside from Naslen and Mamitha, Premalu also features Shyam Mohan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Akhila Bhargavan, among others. At the box office, the movie reportedly accumulated around $108K on its opening day. On day 2, the collection projected some rise and minted over $228K, taking its overall collection to $855.2K till day 4.
The movie revolves around an introverted guy named Sachin, who has just finished his graduation and has no proper future plan. Moreover, he failed to achieve his idea of going to the UK due to a lack of financial backup. However, the story takes an exciting twist when Sachin moves to Hyderabad with his friend Aman and meets a girl named Renu.
When is Premalu coming out on OTT?
Regarding its OTT release date, recent reports suggest that the movie will be available for streaming in March 2024. Besides, it is expected to make its digital debut on the popular platform Netflix. While the movie is currently playing in theaters in Malayalam, there has yet to be any news about its multi-language dubbing.
