Prabhas’ Movie The Raja Saab: Producer Teases Major VFX Update

Prabhas recently ruled the box office with his latest film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The actor has been doing several heavy-budget movies pan-India since SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning. As the actor is gearing up for Kalki 2898 AD, he has also announced his next film with director Maruthi, The Raja Saab. Unlike his latest film, the movie is rooted in local settings. As fans are excited to see Prabhas’ comeback to such films, they have been waiting for more updates.

On the occasion of Sankranti, the makers of The Raja Saab announced the new venture with Prabhas and Maruthi. While rumors about the collaboration existed for months, details about the project were kept under wraps. The makers released a poster of Prabhas clad in a shirt and lungi along with the announcement. It reflects on how the film will amalgamate comedy with horror and romance. Check out the poster here:

Update on Prabhas’ The Raja Saab

During an interview with M9 News, People Media Factory producer Vishwa Prasad spilled some beans on the film. The producer revealed that 40-45 percent of the film’s shoot has already been completed. Moreover, he ensured that the movie would amaze and shock the audience.

The producer further mentioned that The Raja Saab will have heavy VFX. Because of this, the makers are being careful about the VFX. He said, “We are taking significant care regarding the VFX.” Well the producer also had some details about the film’s music. Thaman has been roped in as the music composer of the movie. Vishwa Prasad said, “Maruthi has already worked with Thaman before, but he will bring out the true potential of the music director in The Raja Saab. The film will have extraordinary songs for sure.”

The film’s release date has not been announced yet.
