Pan-India star Prabhas ruled hearts with his latest performance in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The movie is considered the actor’s comeback following the criticism he faced for his previous three films. Prashanth Neel, known for creating the KGF universe, has successfully begun the Salaar universe with violent characters. While the film has been enjoying its OTT run now, its English dub version recently arrived on Netflix.
Salaar is set against the backdrop of a fictional place called Khansar. It is considered one of the most violent places in the world. The movie follows the story of two childhood friends who become the greatest enemies with time. From action to drama and emotions, the movie came out to be a full package and received a lot of love from fans. As per Sacnilk, the film minted over a whopping $74 million.
Prabhas’ Salaar English version is available to stream on Netflix?
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasfire came out on December 22, 2023. It faced Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office and took the lead very soon in India and the overseas market. After almost a month, the film made its digital debut on Netflix on January 20, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film’s English dubbed version has finally arrived on the OTT giant.
Furthermore, Netflix India recently announced the arrival of the Prabhas starrer via social media. Along with the film’s poster, the announcement read, “Final voting begins. Salaar is now available in English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on Netflix!” Details about the movie’s Hindi version have not been revealed yet. As a result, fans are elated with the announcement and are looking forward to the film’s English version.
Soon after its digital debut, Salaar topped the trending charts on Netflix. However, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal soon dethroned it in only a few days.
