Pan-India star Prabhas recently shone on the big screens with the action drama Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The movie came out to be a blockbuster and was considered the actor’s comeback because his previous movies were highly criticized. While Salaar was a massive success, the actor also has several projects in his kitty. But, before that, the actor has allegedly taken a break from acting.
Salaar was helmed by Prashanth Neel, while Hombale Films produced it. The movie also starred Prithviraj Sukumar, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and more. It has now arrived on Netflix.
Why did Prabhas take a break from acting?
Prabhas is currently basking in the success of Salaar. As the actor has a packed schedule with several releases in the pipeline, a report has suggested that he has taken a break. A source close to the Hindustan Times said, “Prabhas is really overwhelmed with the response that he has got for his film, Salaar. The response is extra special for him as it comes after back-to-back setbacks in his career.”
The insider further revealed the reason behind Prabhas’ break is that he wants to focus on his life. “It has added renewed energy and focus into his life, which is why he wants to take a break and realign his thoughts as to how he wants to take his career forward.” Prabhas has allegedly taken a break for a month or so and is planning to resume work in March.
Prabhas will be next seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and more. He also has Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and The Raja Saab with Maruthi in the pipeline.
