Dracula trailers reveal new look at the Prince of Darkness
Netflix and BBC have released the two new trailers for their upcoming limited series Dracula, which will be the newest TV adaptation of Bram Stroker’s classic novel. The videos offers us a closer look at Claes Bang’s portrayal of Count Dracula as he tries to destroy everyone who gets in his way. The streaming service has also revealed the official premiere date for supernatural miniseries which will be available for streaming on January 4, 2020 four days after its BBC debut. Dracula is inspired by Bram Stroker’s classic novel and was written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The 90-minute episodes will re-introduce the world to Dracula in 1897 Transylvania where the blood drinking Count is drawing his plans against Victoria London.
The cast, which will be led by Claes Bang (The Girl in the Spider’s Web) in the titular role, will also feature Sacha Dhawan (The Boy with the Top Knot), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits), Catherine Schell (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), Youssef Kerkour (Jack Ryan) and Clive Russell (Game of Thrones).
The first part of the drama series will be helmed by Jonny Campbell (Westworld), while part two will be directed by Damon Thomas (Killing Eve) and part three by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock).

Wenger and Director of BBC Content Charlotte Moore Dracula commissioned the series, which is written and created by Moffat and Gatiss. Executive producers are Gatiss, Moffat, and Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films, Ben Irving for BBC and will be handled by Tanz for Netflix. BBC Studios Distribution will handle international distribution.
Dracula is expected to debut on New Year’s Day 2020 on BBC, which will air over three consecutive nights.
