Death Pool: Indie slasher saga coming to DVD and VOD this month
Weird, indie slasher/psychodrama Death Pool is coming this month from MTI Home Video and we have your first gander at the water-logged trailer. Director Jared Cohn (Little Dead Rotting Hood, The Horde, Devil’s Domain) soaks the screen with suspense in this stylish thing that features Randy Wayne (Hellraiser: Judgement) in an electric performance. A sexy, spine-chilling fusion of American Psycho and Maniac, Death Pool will premiere on DVD and VOD on June 20. Sara Malakul Lane (Kickboxer: Vengeance), Demetrius Stear (Evil Nanny), Shawn C. Phillips (Ghostquake) and James Cullen Bressack (director of Bethany) co-star.
Synopsis: After nearly drowning at the hands of his babysitter, a troubled young man grows up to become a serial killer with a compulsion to drowned young beautiful women. Based on true events, this conniving killer becomes a cultural phenomenon, known throughout the streets of Los Angeles.
