Canadian theater chain Cineplex to screen a wealth of horror gems this month and next
Cineplex, Canada’s largest theater chain, is jumping into the Halloween season whole hog by unspooling a wild selection of classic and contemporary horror films – and one acclaimed live horror theatre presentation – throughout the remainder of October and early November.
Earlier this month, they trotted out the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino horror/action classic From Dusk Till Dawn (the series version of which is currently in its 3rd season on the El Rey network) and now they’ll be giving audiences the chance to see vintage Hitchcock, Craven and even Mel Brooks movies the way they were designed to be seen: on the larger than life silver screen. All the films screened have been digitally remastered.
All the films are playing at select cinemas across Canada. For participating theaters and showtimes, please visit the official Cineplex site.
