Channel Zero, Directed by John Nicol

Canada | 2015 | 83 mins | SOUTHEAST REGIONAL PREMIERE

Imagine a world void of people and life as we know it. Yet this world displays evidence of very recent human occupation. The power is still on, buildings still stand – everything is as it was, except everything living has vanished. This is the shocking reality Darlan suddenly finds himself in. His story begins in a bed within an empty hospital. Upon opening his eyes, he remembers nothing, but quickly gleans a few disturbing facts. Darlan is dressed like a criminal and armed with a crowbar. Nearby is a smashed pharmaceutical cabinet… The signs are grim and imply something nefarious – and these are the only facts Darlan has to go on. He knows instinctively that things are wrong, and that his reality has been radically altered. Darlan must try to distinguish fact from fiction one painstaking step at a time…

Child Eater, Directed by Erlingur Thoroddsen

USA, Ireland | 2016 | 82 mins | SOUTHEAST REGIONAL PREMIERE

A babysitter. A missing kid. A local legend who feasts on the eyes of children. Child Eater is a nightmarish roller-coaster ride of a horror movie inspired by the fantastical tone of 1980s slasher movies.

Frankenstein Created Bikers, Directed by James Bickert

Bickert’s crazy 35mm exploitation masterpiece comes to Little Rock! A resurrected outlaw biker finds himself addicted to the substance that brought him back from the grave. In order to get his daily fix, his gang is forced to do the bidding of two sadistic scientists attempting to capture a biological mutation and perform a human head transplant on kidnapped teenagers. When his disgruntled ex-girlfriend is released from prison, she embarks on an explosive manhunt for her former lover and his strung-out pack of degenerates. With three dysfunctional bounty hunters, a rival motorcycle gang and an army of machine-gun toting strippers, it becomes a race against law-enforcement for bragging rights to the gang leader’s demise.

Holy Hell, Directed by Ryan LaPlante

Canada | 2015 | 90 mins | ARKANSAS PREMIERE

Holy Hell is the over-the-top, outrageous, sexually-deviant, blood-drenched story of Father Augustus Bane: a priest pushed too far who begins praying to a revolver and hunting down the gangsters who killed his parishioners. Having been described as Death Wish meets The Toxic Avenger by way of Hobo With a Shotgun (nerdly.co.uk), Holy Hell is a modern take on classic Action, Horror and Exploitation film tropes. The goal of this feature length movie is to break through every limit set by film, taste and reasonable societal behavior: all with anarchic glee.

Mania, Directed by Jessica Cameron

USA | 2015 | 88 mins | ARKANSAS PREMIERE

Brooke makes a deadly mistake during a manic episode, forcing her and her lover to flee their home and embark on a sex-charged and gore-filled road trip. Can Mel bring Brooke back from the edge or is it too late for their love and their lives?

The surviving man escapes on foot, naked and unarmed, with a pack of depraved transients in pursuit, and only seconds away from capture.

Peelers, Directed by Sevé Schelenz

Canada | 2016 | 95 mins | ARKANSAS PREMIERE

A small town strip club owner must defend her bar, her strippers and her life when violent infected patrons show up on the final closing night and all hell breaks loose.
