Guillermo del Toro’s TROLLHUNTERS gets first cast announcement.
Guillermo del Toro is the busiest son of a gun in this business, he always has multiple projects on the go and all of them are interesting.
Case in point, TROLLHUNTERS, the hotly-anticipated animated series from del Toro and DreamWorks Animation for Netflix, an expansion of del Toro’s same-named book and the filmmaker/professional dreamer’s first produced work for kids.
Variety reported this morning that today at the Annecy Festival in France, del Toro announced that his regular star, actor Ron Perlman (HELLBOY, BLADE II, CRONOS) will provide voice acting alongside CHEERS and FRASIER legend Kelsey Grammer.
Today, del Toro is scheduled to unveil a masterclass on his career at Annecy and is expected to reveal more about TROLLHUNTERS, including a series of clips and scenes.
Created and executive-produced by Del Toro, TROLLHUNTERS will premiere on December 16th.
