Check out these clips from oddball horror comedy DIRECTOR’S CUT.
Director Adam Rifkin (DETROIT ROCK CITY, CHILLERAMA) is back in the saddle with his latest flick, the horrific dark comedy DIRECTOR’S CUT. The film stars Penn & Teller’s Penn Jillette (who also wrote the film) and Teller as well as CLASH OF THE TITANS legend Harry Hamlin.
The film made its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival, where the premiere screening sold out so quickly that Slamdance added a second, then a third opening night screening.
DIRECTORS CUT was also selected as the film for this years first installment of the Slamdance Cinema Club presented by Arclight. It will be screening at the Arclight in Hollywood at 8pm on tonight (Tuesday February 2nd ) with Penn and Teller and director Adam Rifkin in attendance as well as special moderator John Landis.

Here’s the DIRECTOR’S CUT synopsis:
The ultimate meta movie, DIRECTORS CUT is an insane, cinematic sleight of hand trick that reflects on itself, much like the stage persona of its co-star and creator, world famous illusionist Penn Jillette. The film a mind bending, genre-defying movie-within-a-movie mash-up thats part narrative thriller, part docu-mental-case. Co-starring Missi Pyle, DIRECTORS CUT is about a cineaste stalker who kidnaps his favorite actress and forces her to star in his amateur movie. The madness that unspools behind the scenes will leave you reeling.
