HBO airs a Westworld first look before True Detective
HBO tonight aired a Westworld first look that you can watch below! The preview of the upcoming drama series aired just prior to the Season 2 finale of “True Detective.”
The HBO one-hour drama series is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin. The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Simon Quarterman and Angela Sarafyan.
The series is inspired by the motion picture Westworld, written and directed by Michael Crichton. The production companies include Bad Robot Productions, Jerry Weintraub Productions and Kilter Films in association with Warner Bros. Television.
“Westworld” is executive produced, written by and directed by Jonathan Nolan. Lisa Joy is executive producer and writer, and the executive producers also include J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub and Bryan Burk. The co-executive producer is Kathy Liingg, the producer is Athena Wickham and the co-producer is Susie Ekins.
“Westworld” will debut in 2016.
