Turbo Kid: Killer New Poster for Post-Apocalypse Party

From Canadian collective RKSS (directors François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell), Turbo Kid is a mad vision of future past, a BMX-riding 1997 post apocalypse with bright hair to combat grey sky. It looks real gory and crazy fun, and has got a befitting new painted poster to accompany release.

Turbo Kid follows “an orphaned teenager (Munro Chambers) who goes on an adventure to save his female-robot companion (Laurence Laboeuf) from the hands of the evil warlord (Michael Ironside) who controls the only water supply.” The film played Midnights in Sundance and SXSW. It’s currently gearing up for a Montreal homecoming at the Fantasia International Film Festival this week.

Turbo Kid is out August 28th in theaters (full cities TK) and on VOD.
