Hannibal Lecter arrives at a startling conclusion in the latest promo for the highly anticipated third season of his namesake series.
Last week, a first look featurette delved more into the world of Hannibal Season Three, in which Hannibal and Bedelia have absconded to Italy. Living under assumed names, they are deep in high society, with the sophisticated killer no less impressive in dress or conversation and Bedelia indulging darker impulse. Will is of course on Hannibal’s trail, and Francis Dollarhyde (aka The Tooth Fairy) is on the horizon. There’s much to look forward to, including the return of the Vergers and Dr. Abel Gideon.
Hannibal has, and likely always will be about the specific, evolving and terribly complex relationship between Hannibal and Will. Will’s “I forgive you” in the first Season Three trailer now has an equally starting inward epiphany from Hannibal.
We’ll see it all play out handsomely, June 4th.
