I cant believe we are fucking doing this!!! Seth Rogen enthused just a few days ago. Neither can many Preacher admirers who sat by as the lauded Garth Ennis comic took a long road to the screen. Now officially in production under Rogen and collaborator Evan Goldberg, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as title character Jesse Custer, Ian Colletti as Arseface, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy and Ruth Negga as Tulip. Rogen shared the first image, of Cooper and Colletti, from the set of the AMC series. Coopers hair is ace.
As in the comic, Preacher will follow Texas preacher Jesse Custer, who embarks on a journey to find God after hes possessed by the being, Genesis.
