The leather-clad battle between vampires and werewolves rages on. Kate Beckinsale has officially signed on to return for a fifth Underworld film, to be directed by Anna Foerster (Starz series, Outlander).
THR reports production will get underway this summer in Prague. No word yet on other returning cast, but Beckinsale will reprise her role as Selene, who was last seen in Underworld: Awakening. That film took place in a time when humans have discovered the existence of both supernatural races, and Selene discovers the existence of her daughter with Scott Speedman’s Michael. The trade writes that plot for the next film is under wraps, but that it will focus on this continuous war with a new generation. Cory Goodman writes.
