Best case scenario: This year, we are gifted three Kurt Russell films, two of which threaten to be ultraviolent westerns. The first, of course, is Quentin Tarantino’s much anticipated The Hateful Eight. The second is cannibal horror-western Bone Tomahawk. Behold, the beauty of that one-sheet, below.
Starring Russell, Patrick Wilson (Insidious), Matthew Fox and the terrific Richard Jenkins, Bone Tomahawk sees four men set out in the Wild West to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers. Producers Caliber Media (supernatural slasher Some Kind of Hate) and The Fyzz Facility are bringing the film to the Cannes market with Celluloid Dreams representing foreign sales rights. S.
