Beloved X-Files actor Mitch Pileggi confirms hell continue his turn as the antagonistic turn as Assistant Director Walter Skinner on the upcoming series revival.
Pileggi, who joined The X-Files in the series 21st episode, Tooms, tweeted out today: Very happy to announce that Walter Skinner will once again be getting all grumpy and bitchy with his two wayward kids. Very happy.
Pileggi joins Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, as well as creator Chris Carter on the six-episode event series. Duchovny previously revealed both Pileggi and William B. Davis will return, while Carter indicated hed like to have everyone back, including Annabeth Gish and Robert Patrick as special agents Monica Reyes and John Doggett, respectively.
The X-Files shoots this summer in Vancouver. Carter has teased the new iteration will be a mix of standalone cases and mythology episodes.
