Buhguul and crew are back, setting up home movies for unwilling families… It’s the first footage from Sinister 2.
Earlier today at WonderCon in Anaheim, the Blumhouse panel saw the debut of new clips from Insidious: Chapter 3 and this summer’s Sinister 2, the Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill co-written follow-up to their 2012 original. This time, Citadel‘s Ciaran Foy takes directing duties. By the look of it, he’s brought aggression and a scythe to the proceedings.
In the fillm, “a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity.” Blumhouse produces, Focus Features releases August 21.
