A town is under siege from a mysterious disease and under quarantine from the authorities in Canadian-made thriller series Between. The show hits this spring and appropriately, its young star Jennette McCurdy has dropped the first teaser.
Netflix’s Between is set in a town known as Pretty Lake where a strange disease is killing off residents over the age of 21. Netflix’s first trailer doesn’t focus hard on the premise, or what writer-director Michael McGowan is doing with it. Rather, the clip lays out Pretty Lake’s residents and its situation and the widespread confusion over such devastation via texts and social media. Perhaps most interesting is that Netflix plans to roll the six-episode first season weekly, starting May 21st, instead of debut it all at once.
