SXSW Clip: Henry Rollins, Cool Cannibal Customer in He Never Died

Old hardcore dudes are often pretty zen (and that’s not to mention old krishnacore dudes), something Henry Rollins effortless demonstrates in the cool badass of this He Never Died clip.

Premiering in the Midnighters section of Austin’s upcoming SXSW, He Never Died is a cannibalistic horror-comedy from director Jason Krawcyzk. Rollins stars as Jack, a gentleman in a rut. “Depression and severe anti-social behavior has whittled down his existence to sleeping and watching television. Seeing the human race as little more than meat with a pulse, Jack has no interest to bond with anyone. There’s little purpose for him to make friends with someone he’d eventually eat or outlive by more than a millennia. The fuse is lit when Jack’s past comes back to rattle him. Jack must now walk a tight rope of sobriety and try to eat as few people as possible in this violent tale of personal responsibility.”

He Never Died premieres Tuesday, March 17th at the Stateside Theater in Austin, Texas. For full screening info, head right here. Expect much more on the film and all the horrors of SXSW soon. [Deadline]
