Ejecta is just the latest from a tenacious collective of Canadian indie horror filmmakers including Chad Archibald, Matt Wiele, Cody Calahan and John Geddes, who rotate directing and producing duties and frequently team with Pontypool writer Tony Burgess and delightful character actor Julian Richings (Orphan Black, Cube, Urban Legend). In just the last two years, the Foresight Features crew have premiered Antisocial, Septic Man, Hellmouth, The Drownsman and this weeks extraterrestrial horror story, Ejecta.
Giving Richings a much deserved starring role, Ejecta is something of a dual film, co-directed by Archibald and Wiele (and written by Burgess) as it veers between a more traditionally filmed extended interrogation and its focus, a series of events caught on tape. Shock presents an exclusive clip from the former, in which the interrogators put electric strain on Richings brain.
Ejecta is out from IFC Midnight this Friday, February 27th on VOD.
