Season Three of A&E’s Bates Motel is looking to focus hard on the ever rising tensionviolent, sexual, workplacebetween Norma and future “psycho” Norman.
Eerie moments and knowing references abound in this first look at Season Three of Bates Motel, one which finds the intimacy of Norma and Norman even more troubling. It’s a gripping tease, one which seems to be setting up in earnest what Norman is to become and hints that the thriller could be worthy of Vera Farmiga in its latest go.
Season Three, returning Monday, March 9th, “focuses on the evolution of the Bates family and dives head first into Normans waning ability to stay in denial about whats happening to him and the lengths he will go to gain control of his fragile psyche. The dramatic events of last season leaves Norma (Vera Farmiga) reluctantly more aware of Normans mental fragility and is fearful of what he is capable of.”
And Norman gets a promotion! There’s also a somber ‘Enjoy the Silence’ over for maximum impact.
