Trailer: Jack Brooks Director’s Psycho Sexual Goddess of Love

Jon Knautz won favor in 2008 with monster mash horror comedy debut Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and followed it up with the Euro occult thriller, The Shrine. Now, Knautz is readying his third feature, erotic horror Goddess of Love. With a presence at the currently underway EFM, the first, NSFW trailer for the film has debuted.

In Goddess of Love, ‘Venus is a troubled young woman whose life is upended when the love of her life, Brian, breaks up with her. Her obsession to discover why he left drives her to the brink of madness.’

Sexually charged and in the tradition of the Psychotic Woman film, Knautz also promised a twist when he first crowdfunded for Goddess. He told Twitch this week, “I wanted to make a film that puts the audience inside the mind of the insane so you could experience the story from their point of view rather than watch it from the outside. Glenn Close may seem like the ‘bad guy’ in Fatal Attraction, but what if you experienced the film from her perspective? In her eyes she’s not doing anything wrong… and that’s just interesting to me. Good or bad is just an opinion of the individual.”

No word on a release for Goddess of Love just yet. Again, this is likely not appropriate for your viewing at your place of business
