Ana Lily Amirpour, who announced herself so tremendously with black-and-white Iranian vampire debut, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is cooking up a post-apocalyptic cannibal love story called The Bad Batch with Annapurna Pictures and VICE. As the film develops, it looks like it has its star.
Jason Momoa, perhaps best known as Game of Thrones’ Khal Drogo and Aquaman in the upcoming DC slate of superhero films, is currently in talks to star in The Bad Batch, The Wrap reports. The film is set in a Texas cannibal community and the director has previously called the film “Road Warrior meets Pretty in Pink with a dope soundtrack.”
