The packed anthology Tales of Halloween is ever expanding. Already featuring ten segments from eleven directors, including the likes of Neil Marshall, Axelle Carolyn and Lucky McKee, the films cast is intent on continuing the lineup of horror favorites.
Deadline is reporting that within the ten Halloween-centric segments, audiences will likely be delighted to find cameos and roles from Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Adrienne Barbeau (Escape From New York), Gremlins and The Burbs great Joe Dante, Hatchets Adam Green, Re-Animators Stuart Gordon and An American Werewolf in London director John Landis. Thats not to mention the cast added, including Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills), Noah Segan (Deadgirl), Starry Eyes breakthrough Alex Essoe and The Womans Pollyanna McIntosh.
Tales of Halloween itself is a series of interconnected stories, each with a unique Halloween theme. Ten stories will be woven together by their shared theme of Halloween night in an American suburb, where ghouls, imps, aliens and axe murderers appear for one night only to terrorize unsuspecting residents.
Produced by Carolyn, Mike Mendez, Marshall and Epic Pictures, the full filmmakers lineup is rounded out by Darren Lynn Bousman, Adam Gierasch, Andrew Kasch & John Skipp, Dave Parker, Ryan Schifrin and Paul Solet. The anthology is expected next fall.
