Indie horror film Muck has been picked up by Anchor Bay Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter. You can watch an early sales trailer here. A new promo is expected to debut at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles.
Steve Wolsh writes and directs the film which stars Kane Hodder, Lachlan Buchanan and Jaclyn Swedberg.
The middle part of a “horror trilogy,” Muck, according to THR, “starts off with group of friends emerging from the foggy darkness of a marsh, tattered and bloody, and lucky to be alive. They take shelter in an empty Cape Cod vacation house but soon learn that something more savage was lying in wait in the house, even as what was in the marsh still wants them dead.”
The other two installments in this trilogy have not yet been shot.
