Much like the attraction that debuted at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood, the maze culls some of the most iconic, terrifying moments from the 1978 slasher classic and beckons visitors to creep through dark hallways, backyards and living rooms and other recognizable backdrops. They’ll meet Dr. Loomis, Laurie, Annie, Lynda and, of course, Michael Myers along the way, narrowly escaping his butcher knife.
The maze in Orlando is slightly different from the one presented to fans in Hollywood, I’m happy to report. And, the attention to detail is incredible.
Shock Till You Drop was called to make the trek from Los Angeles to Orlando to check out Halloween Horror Nights and to partake in a series of interviews, one of which included a chat with creative director Mike Aiello and producer Malek Akkad of the Halloween film series.
In the interview below, the two talk about the creation of the maze, bringing the world of John Carpenter’s film to life, inserting Easter Eggs for the fans, Halloween‘s return to the screen and the future of the franchise.
