Filmmaker Daniel Ray alerted us to a trailer for his indie horror film Heidi. The movie combines two sub-genres of horror – killer dolls and found footage. Yes, I rolled my eyes at the idea of this, too. But then I saw the trailer and…I thought it sort of worked for a DYI horror flick working on a legitimate micro-budget. Heidi is getting its premiere in Vegas this month.
