Pencil this date in on your calendar: Wednesday October 1st. That is when Beyond Fest hosts a special Dean Cundey-approved 4k restored print of Halloween on the big screen. But there’s more: Both director John Carpenter and star Jamie Lee Curtis are going to be attending for a special Q&A!
The fact the two of them are coming together for this event is incredible. And I can’t remember how long it has been since I personally saw Curtis take the stage for a Halloween screening (over 10 years at least).
This fall is a big deal for the Halloween franchise. Anchor Bay and Scream Factory have come together to bring fans a massive Halloween Blu-ray collection that features all of the films with tons of bonus features. That streets on September 23rd (so soon!).
