Production Begins This Fall on ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ Season 2

From Dusk Till DawnEl Rey Network today announced that production on the sophomore season of Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, the network’s first scripted drama, will start production in Austin (home to Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios) beginning October 2014.

Anyone out there a fan of this series? It had its ups and downs and I’m still curious as to how they’ll continue based on the season one finale.

Season two will be comprised of 13 hour-long episodes (three additional as compared to season one).

In addition to its berth on El Rey Network, the franchise is available exclusively on Netflix in Canada, the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, the Netherlands and Latin America with season one becoming available on the service in the U.S. on August 19th.

Other international territories where the series is available include Australia, China and the Middle East. Returning are all leading cast members including Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz and Eiza Gonzalez.

Rodriguez explained, “I look forward to creating an unexpected and compelling narrative for our characters in season two and giving our fans the kind of content they have come to expect from El Rey.”
