World War Z is the big one and Netflix has added both the theatrical and “unrated” version. So, pick either one and catch up because Paramount is currently developing a sequel to the hit film starring Brad Pitt.
Based on Max Brooks’ best-selling novel “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War,” the story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
Next, we have Doc of the Dead. Apropos, I suppose.
Follow the history of the zombie film, from its origins in early monster movies through its reinvention in the 1960s to its modern renaissance. The doc focuses a lot on the pop culture aspect of the zombie zeitgeist.
