The Walking Dead is Returning to Halloween Horror Nights

If you’ve ever attended either one of the attractions during the fall season, you can easily understand why The Walking Dead is back: It draws a helluva crowd. Last year, I saw a line wait time of 1 hour and 45 minutes just to experience the maze they created here in Hollywood. I’m sure it was the same in Orlando.

As usual, expect there to be a Walking Dead-themed scare zone as well as maze inspired by the events of season 4.

“The Walking Dead is a once in a lifetime horror property,” says John Murdy, creative director of Universal Studios Hollywood, in a press release. “It transcends the typical boundaries of traditional movies or television shows. It appeals to everyone. The show keeps zombies in the zeitgeist of American pop culture.”

We’ll have more details on all things related to Halloween Horror Nights – along with our usual first-look coverage – as we draw closer to September.
